While I met Ed only about a year ago, I felt I'd known him much longer -- he was so comfortable in his skin and relaxed in new environments. Ed was a welcome dancer and schmoozer at our home and brought to his friends some of the most exquisite home made breads that have ever graced a table or turned into french toast! for the loss of your companion, susan, i am profoundly sad and for the loss of a friend, i am sorry for myself and for Ed's many other friends. in his courage in the difficult fight, his willingness to maintain an optimism and to dance whenever he could, he was an exemplar of the strength of the human soul.
