Please accept the condolences of the Riverside SAR Chapter, its sponsored George & Martha Washington Cotillion (English Country Dance Group), and the California Order of the Founders and Patriots of America. We were saddened by Ed's death, although we were aware of his fight with cancer. A few years ago, when I joined the Riverside SAR Chapter, my disabled wife said to me: "This is a special group of men." That group included Ed. Ed was responsible for me joining the Order of Founders and Patriots of America. He was responsible for me writing a 30-40 page newsletter on the Chapter every month, and beginning to make Powerpoint presentations. My empathy went out to him, when I realized he had colon cancer --which had cost the life of my brother, a few years ago, at 64 years of age. In the end, everything must be what its own qualities determine. Ed had special, unique and superlative qualities.
