I worked for State Farm Insurance for 30 years, and knew Ed when he worked for MBA, the law firm we used exclusively. He was an incredibly talented attorney, and we had many cases together, both with MBA and when he was house counsel. He was very practical, with a great sense of humor. I think his humor is what I really liked about him. He was successfull lin winning cases, because he kept things simple. He spoke TO the jury, not over their heads. Thankfully, I kept in touch with him after he retired and moved away. I am so very sorry to get your news about him, and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will never forget the "Saint". He was one in a million! The e-mails he sent to us, regarding his cancer, showed a man with great courage, and he never lost his sense of humor! He will be missed!
